Markdown
Press supports basic Markdown tags. Markdown is easy to read and write plain text that enables rich text styling. To start using Markdown, enable it by opening the Settings within Press and toggling Markdown on.
Bold
Wrap text in single underscores or asterisks.
This:
This is one of **the best** cups I've ever had.
Becomes:
This is one of the best cups I've ever had.
Italic
Wrap text in single underscores or asterisks.
This:
This is one of _the best_ cups I've ever had.
Becomes:
This is one of the best cups I've ever had.
Headings
At the start of a line, add hashtags (#). One hashtag for a first-level heading, two hashtags for a second-level heading, and so on.
This:
# Roaster Notes
Strawberry and plum with a chocolate body
Becomes:
Roaster Notes
Strawberry and plum with a chocolate body
Another option for headings is to instead follow the heading line with a new line containing only = or - characters.
This:
Roaster Notes
=====
Strawberry and plum with a chocolate body
Becomes:
Roaster Notes
Strawberry and plum with a chocolate body
